Thursday the 1st October was a sad day in Callystown National School as we said goodbye to our wonderful Ms O’Connell after 13 years as a learning support teacher in Callystown NS. Ms O’Connell was a dedicated and much-loved teacher and colleague and will be sadly missed by both children and staff. The pupils and staff gave her a great send off with songs, poems and dancing. We wish her a long and happy retirement.
