Our school uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school. It instills pride, supports positive behaviour and discipline, protects children and families from the expense and social pressure of dressing in a particular way and supports effective teaching and learning.
School Uniform
Boys Navy jumper, light blue shirt or light blue polo shirt (summer days), navy tie, navy trousers or shorts (summer). (No tracksuit bottoms or other pants not considered as trousers).
Girls Navy jumper/cardigan, light blue blouse/shirt or polo shirt, navy tie, navy skirt/pinafore or trousers. (No tracksuit bottoms or other pants not considered as trousers)
Children are required to wear the complete school uniform.
Children who wear their uniform in a dishevelled manner will be asked to tidy up their appearance.(Your co-operation on this matter would be appreciated)
School Tracksuit
Children are required to wear the school tracksuit only on P.E. days.
The school tracksuit can be purchased at the school through the secretary or on the annual fitting day in May/June.
The school tracksuit includes a plain red or yellow t-shirt. (T-shirts with emblems, graphics or slogans are not acceptable. Football jerseys will not be accepted either.)
Runners are compulsory for participation in P.E. classes.
Hair Children should keep their hair in a tidy fashion and in a manner that does not interfere with their vision or cause them to be distracted.
Extreme hairstyles will be deemed unacceptable under the code of dress.
Jewellery Only stud ear-rings are permitted.
The wearing of jewellery is not advised as it may interfere with a child’s participation in play and P.E.
Referral Notes Children will receive referral notes from their class teacher or Principal if they are in breach of the code of dress. These notes will have to be signed by parents and returned the following day.
