This week we are all back together and diving straight into the fun as we we are celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge at Callystown NS. The children are learning about St. Patrick and listening to lots of fun songs about leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold. There was lots of art in all the classrooms and Ms Neary’s class made some paper plate leprechaun faces with cut out orange paper strips for his golden beard. They also cut and paste the green hats on their leprechaun pictures.
On Tuesday, Lá Glas the school was a sea of green, including the teachers and SNA’s all dressed up in green too!
We hope you have a great St. Patrick’s Day🙂. We’ll be back on Thursday to continue the seachtain na gaelige craic agus ceol.
