Our Christmas carol services returned after a three-year absence even the short frost postponement did not prevent these special occasions from bringing great joy to us all again. This year’s theme was Christmas thoughts and prayers. We heard the story of Christmas and prayed for those people for whom Christmas can be a challenging time. Each class sang two songs each. One, a Christmas Carol and a second song that could be best described as a festive favorite. Our school choir was in wonderful voice and their edition of Andrea Bocelli’s. The prayer was one of the many highlights of the evening. Well done to all our pupils who performed so well on the night and to our staff for their efforts in making both of the occasions so memorable.
