Rock Art Today’s activity is called Rock Art. You simply need to collect some rocks or pebbles and begin to create your picture or scene. If you have access to paint, you can paint your rocks – write a message/paint the rock to look like an animal/monster/footballer – use your imagination! If you do not have any paint, don’t worry. You can arrange your rocks to create a picture. I have attached some examples. Please remember to post a picture or video of your creations as I’d love to see them. Have Fun!

Hey guys, hope you are all well and enjoying getting in touch with your creative sides! It’s time to explore your home and find music in unexpected places….. Try and find items that make a sound when you can do the following: 1. Shake (e.g. – cereal box, rice, coins in a jar) 2. Hit (pots and pans, drum, plastic box, lego) 3. Rub (sofa, comb, shoes together) Take a picture of each item you find or even make a little video and post it here. Use your imagination and maybe create a small musical piece using each item you find? Or even perform to your favourite song at the moment?! Have a dance break in between playing your sounds too. Try not to be too noisy for your Mam’s and Dad’s!!! “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”
Hi all, I hope everyone’s well and had a lovely weekend!
Here is the first Arts and Crafts activity of the week.
Attached are a few suggestions of some recipes we’ve enjoyed baking in our kitchen over the last few months. If you’d prefer, find a favourite family recipe, check that you have all the ingredients to make it and get busy baking. Make sure to check with your parents or caregivers that you are allowed to use what is required and don’t forget to ask an adult for help. Be careful when working around hot surfaces and sharp objects. If you can, take a picture of your creation and share it on Seesaw! Have fun and bon appétit!
