Miss Dawe’s have been hard at work learning and drawing houses . They also have been learning about all the different types of houses.

 

Kevin the builder took a short break from all his hard work on the school classroom to teach the children some of the tricks of his trade. The children loved to hear his stories and had lots of question for Kevin on building.

Miss O’Donoghue’s class went on a tour of Drogheda on the 22nd of November. They met Gerry Duffy the weather forecaster for RTE and talked to him about his job. On the way home they had a sneaky stop at McDonalds . Where they had a good evening with friends.

 

Mr Crosbie’s class were getting their hands dirty making beautiful snowflakes for the winter season.

Ms Lally and her class  made some magnificent clay winter bowls that are shaped like leaves.  They will definitely bring vibrant winter colors to the owners homes.

 

Miss Boylan’s have been busy learning about all the different jobs they were extremely lucky to have a visit from a midwife . Besides all the learning they had the most brilliant time pretending to be these fascinating   people.

Miss Kelledy and Miss Gaffney’s have been having great fun at their usual playtime.They have also been colouring rocket ships and they are having a great time doing it.

 

 

Miss Neary’s have been learning all of the information and facts about Italy as they study and learn about the Italian culture.

Miss Faugheys have been having great fun colouring in their wonderful Thanksgiving display .

 

 

Our schools extremely talented musicians have been having a blast with Hilda Milner from the Royal Irish Academy, as they prepare for their performance at the national concert hall .  

 

Miss Booth has been keeping her class busy with teaching them all about fractions and has been helping them make a colourful fraction wall. They have definitely enjoyed doing this even though it is still Maths.

Ms Brodigan’s class were having a fun time outside on a Math’s trail as they searched all around for 3D shapes. 

Mr Fortune’s were painting with science shapes.

Ms Kings were drawing candid pastel drawing of catching snowflakes on your tongue.

Ms O’Kane has been teaching the infants to use QR readers to find audio stories on the tablets.
